Something i wanted to get back into for sometime, intended to do more of this in the evening. Went the full hog got the paintbrushes, the paints, the models, even airbrushing. Something i would never have considered while working at Intec. Despite being quite messy i decided to give it a go, purchasing the Voliamart Airbrush first from Amazon.
I have to say, not overly impressed with this brush. Mixed reviews on the site. Although i did manage to get it to work in the end i found the brush clogged to easily. I then tried a final time with Tamiya paint and thinners, gave it a go on one of my models, but again just clogged up. So this brush is going to bye byes permanently, might use the needle or nozzle as spares. The pump might be useful though.
I then ordered the Expo, again, the brush works, but not sure if this is going to be any use for fine work. Need more practice.
The Iwata Eclipse CS, i think has impressed me from the getgo, so this may be my workhorse now. Just need to paint my models. Start / stop process me thinks.
